Hello,

After returning from Jamaica a few months ago, a group of friends and I have become quite sick and we believe it is from our trip to Jamaica. The one thing we all remember doing together was a water rafting trip down the White River. Does anyone know of any parasites in this river?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hmmmm that's not good at all. I don't know about that river really. The confusing thing to me is that it took a few months to set in. I think if it was parasitic it would have happened a lot faster than that. Of all my trips to JA I've only returned and gotten sick once and I know exactly which meal it was that made me sick. But that set in within 2 days after eating it, not months after.
