This one if for you JamCan...

Let me start off by saying that names have been left out to protect the innocent...dont want to start no drama..I am new here, so if you think you may know this guy...you might be right.

I have been to Jamaica before to visit family, so this was not my first trip there.

My friend my son and I to go with her family for vacation in June. My son had never been so I decided since he is 8 it would be a time for us to go.

Before leaving one of my friends joked about me going down there and meeting someone, and I was like please I am not even thinking about meeting anyone.

I met "my friend" the first day I arrived at the resort, he works there. No problem he was doing his routine welcoming us and telling us about all the activities at the resort. Later my friends and I were having a round of drinks and here he comes again, but this time he is lingering, making small talk and just sort of staying there....my girlfriend and I was like why is he hanging around , but I still did not have a clue he was checking me out. Only when another guest call to him did he leave, but not before leaving he invited us to a swim class the next day.

The next before the swim class , I was lounging by the pool and I noticed him looking at me, but again I think he is being polite because it his job. Later at the swim class he is flexing and diving...you know putting on a show for everyone...I am like this guy surely does like himself alot.

Now this whole time about 3 guys at the resort have asked me out....only to be shot down...remember I was not there looking for anything. My girlfriends and I were there to eat, drink and hang out at the pool or beach with the kids.

Day 3 were getting kind of bored with the resort thing and decided to go Kingston. When we get back there is some new people at the resort from NJ and you can tell they like to have fun....so we are all hanging by the bar when they decided to have so kind of drinking contest...guys versus girls.
We all are getting pretty messed up because we can not let the guys be us, and yes again here comes "my friend". He joins in on the fun and we are chatting but I am being more friendly now (because of the drinks) and I notice that he is not so bad, but I am also thinking with him working at resort he must have women constantly, and I was not looking for no boy toy.

Day 4 again at the bar ...I know you guys must think, but I only drink alot on vacation....."my friend" sits down beside me and it talking on and on and on.
I look to my girlfriend for help to make an exit and she is not catching the eye signals at all. I see that my son is getting tired so I about to excuse myself when my girlfriends husband is like I am going up, your son can come with me .....now I don't even have and excuse to leave.

So here we are one on one and he asks me if I am single or did I just leave my man at home.
I tell him I am single and asks him the same question. He says that he is single and I ask him if it was by choice, he says it because he works so much he doesnt have time for a relationship. I am still thinking player, so I tell him working here must be a guys paradise with all the women that come through and he just looks at me kind of odd. He is like you work with a lot of people everyday so the same could be said about you and all the men that you meet. He got me... it was only then I realized how hard I was judging him, and I relaxed a little and actually had a good time talking to him that night.

Day 5...I was actually beginning to warm up to him when another female guest was calling to him and my guard went up again . When he came over to me later to talk, I brushed him off and went to my room.

Day 6...My friends and I we going to go out that night...I had ran into "my friend" that morning and he was like do I need a date, I was like whatever.
He was off that day and had just stop by the resort to drop something off so he was like I meet up with you later. During the course of the day two of my travel companions got into an arguement so they both were not going out anymore, and my other girlfreinds husband was not feeling well, so the whole going out thing got cancelled, but I had now way of contacting "my friend". But as promised he did come back and we spent the night talking and drinking away, went for a walk and asked me for a kiss.

Normally that turns me off when a guy asks for a kiss but he was very sweet about it. Now I have kissed guys before but I dont know how to explain this kiss...it was like it took both of our breaths away...afterewards we both sat there breathless. Needless to say the attraction was definitely there , but I was a good girl and called it a night.

Day 7...my last full day and night there....we spent sometime together, but he was working so he could only be around so much. He ate dinner with me and my friends and we were looking forward to spending time together later....but then my girlfriend and her husband got sick, we think from something they ate and I ended up babysitting their kids.....not what I had in mind for my last night in there . We did manage to sneak some kissing after the kids went to sleep and even when he left work that night we talked on all night.

Day 8...saw "my friend" at breakfast and we hung out both of us looking sad knowing our time together was coming to a close...he had to do something at work and I had to pack...he asks what time my shuttle leaves and I tell him 1p. I don't see him on my way down so I was like oh well, when he comes running to see me off...he has to play it off but because he is at work and they dont suppose to hook up with guest but I did manage to get a hug. My girlfriend was like he looked so hurt that you were leaving...so off we go to the airport....

He promised to keep in touch, at this point I did not know if he actually would...but he did and I took a leap of faith last month and went back to see him in August....

Wow... that is exciting, now were is the august portion...... Cant wait dont leave us hanging

I guess August is the climax of this report......

***The August Update***

Well needless to say we kept in contact.

Between phone calls, text messages and im and webcam (I did not have a webcam before meeting him) we were in contact constantly. He stayed up all night with me online after I found out someone dear to me pass away, so regardless if this turns out to be a summer fling or the real thing, I will always be greatful to him.

We discussed seeing each other again, so when the chance came for me to go in August for a few day, I was like I am going. He was thrilled and made arrangements at another resort.

My girlfriend almost fainted because I am a homebody, and have never travelled anywhere by myself, so they knew I was catching feelings for "my friend". Oh I almost backed out about 10 times, but when I got on the plane I took that leap of faith...

He met me at the resort and gave me a big hug and kiss. I showered and changed and off to dinner we went... it took me a while to warm up to him...he was like what wrong, but dinner was wonderful, but I didnt eat, I was so self conscious.

After a few drinks and walking along the beach, the ice was broken and it was like we knew each other forever. When we headed back to the room we were kissing constantly...so I knew the time was near.

He was so wonderful, so gentle, and knew where to kiss and touch. We could not get enough of each other and continued all night. I don't remember when we went to sleep but I woke up in his arms and everything felt right. It was noon when I headed for the shower, he felt me move and was like wait for me....

Now the shower was suppose to be all romantic...but my stupid self didn't eat the whole day before because I was nervous and here it is after 12 and I still had not eaten and I am anemic....

Can you guess what happened, my a** almost passed out after about 15 minutes of steaming up the shower...I was so embarrassed. But I had to get some air, he was like go ahead and off I go in my towel.

I get into the other room and decided maybe I should see how it looks outside...and I practically flashed the romantic anniversary lunch this couple was having outside our hotel room. Which later led to our conversation about marriage in general later that night. NO we were not talking about marrying each other just do we believe in it and why so many fail.

When he came out of the shower he made sure I was ok and he rubbed lotion almost lead back to bed...but he wanted to make sure I got something to eat before we started up again.

So the my trip lasted only 4 days we had a wonderful time, we went clubbing we hung out by the pool, and whatever happens I will never regret our time together.

It has been very hard since I have been back because my heart is still in MoBay, but I am not going to delude myself. I have a hard time trusting anyone, and I am not jumping to the conclusion that we are in a relationship, but right now I think about him constantly...he promises to come see me and I am definitely going back next year. So I will continue to enjoy the moment.

I agree, slow is best...i am going to try to keep my feelings in check.

nice report.. I had a somewhat similar experience with some exceptions when I visited Negril in April... you are so right about enjoying the moment.

Funny you ask me that..he was trying to get me to come back in October, but my brother is getting married so I will not be able to visit, possibly November but I am not sure yet.

He is coming to visit in March (his vacation) for a couple of weeks I think we are trying to see each other at least once every 3 months.

We will keep in touch. Hopefully we can have an ETJ linkup in November.
