9th trip, 4th report now, July 06' - Jamaica Talk

starts out the same way everyone else's does....fun with the airlines.

I'm finding out Air Jamaica isn't my friend!!! I bought my ticket back in Jan., awesome price too $360, cheapest one yet!!! I was SSOO excited, NON-STOP flight, only four hours, I was to arrive at 10;30am. SHOULD of had the whole day...... found out the day before I left the flight was cancelled and changed to AA and I was to have a 5 hour lay over in Florida!!!

NEVER have I had a lay over for more than two hours. I wasn't the only one not very happy about this as I found out when I bonded with about a dozen others that the same thing happened to. we kindda hung out and I sure did share my 800# for Air Ja with them. haven't used it yet myself...... the out come was still the same, none the less. I still made it to Ja, over 6 hours after I was suppose to!!! (easiest time I ever had though customs too! no lines, no hassles! ) found my ride right away and off to Negril we went!

and it started raining.....

arrived in Negril after 6pm. it was raining and you could tell it was raining for a while by the way the puddles looked. .... met a friend there with her two girls and we hung at Alfred's for the night. I was up since 2 in the am from the morning of traveling and still managed to stay up til almost 2 the next morning!!!

I was proud of myself.

I'm warning ya now, This is the trip that I've taken the least amount of pictures.... and mostly people when I do.

of course in the morning, or later in the morning, I headed to the beach!!

my friend Marcine came by with my Godson, Leonardo. He is the first pic I captured, of course sleeping is my favorite!!! he curled up with his giggle me Elmo! I love that toy!

next night was saturday and I went with Lyn to her house for the night. we had dinner, mostly by candle light. all the lights on the Island were out. no power ment no going out either.

so we watched DVD and got a good nights sleep, much needed by me!!!

my very lucky friend Lyndeana and her girls by her little piece of Ja!!!

I'm so jealous!!!

Marcine's son Pete and my Godbabies, Nardo and my little Nelisha!!

Dad was showing them pics of themselves....that I took last visit! I can hear him says, " and who's this a picture of?? Nardo!!! and who's this??? Nelisha!!" there's my favorite toy too, giggle me Elmo!!!

do you think I like pics of my babies??? here we're at Juicy Patty! I would SSSOOO love one of those right now!!!

cheese! even better yet, a patty from the guy down on the beach!!! those are the best, veggie loaf!! I'm counting the days, 142!!!! lol!

9 nights seem like a decent amount of days to spend in Ja but at this point my trip is like a third over!!!

the days go by SSSOOO fast!!!

Now this pic is for a Dentist I work with. He has'nt had a vacation for a few years. He told me to have a drink for him, he picked a long Island iced tea. so I figured Margaritaville would have one and it should be decent. was I ever wrong!!

It was absolutely horrible!! it cost $7.90/JA$474 it was SSOOO strong I asked him to pour half into a glass and add soda to both!!! of course he thought I was crazy!!! OK, I don't drink very much at all but a long Island isn't suppose to taste strong at all if made proper. you shouldn't even know your drinking alcohol!! not impressed at all but here's to ya Dr. Donowa!!! don't know what I was saying/doing when she snapped the pic! silly!!

this pic shows Margaritaville better! I shared my drink and still didn't finish it anyways! it was getting cloudy and the people were disapearing as you can see by lack of people! looks like that guy was watching me, hey, he was kindda cute!! darn.....

I brought Dr. Donowa the reciept for the drink, the pics of me drinking it, and what I LOVE to drink, a sample of Red Label wine!!

yes, my babies again, with Mom this time, Nardia. after this we went next door to Chances for pizza. reasonable and pretty tasty too!! when and if my daughter ever comes with, this will be her place to eat. hamburgers, hotdogs, and pizza!!!

should of took a pic of it! next time!

You're doing good DIW. Great to see all the people I've met and Lyn's place looks good. She is a lucky gal to have her little hideaway in the "bush". Sorry I missed her girls, however.
