Since we were drinking so much and losing track of time we realized at a point that we were STARVING to death and there was nowhere in sight to get food. There was also no way to get anywhere at this point because of the rain. That's when Harold, the sweetheart that he is ran across the road to his home and asked his wife to make us some food, then his daughter Elisia brought it over for us. I'm tellin you this was the best food I ate down there this trip.....but the bad news is that I'm POSITIVE this is what made us both sick. They're living was very substandard as we saw later when we went to their house.
You can see the yummy stew she made for us sitting on the table there.

And this is what we started doing after a million drinks ranging from Red Stripe, to Rum Cream to Magnum. That magnum was the shizzle I'm tellin you!!! We tried to be all artistic with our photography but really, we were just wasted.

Okay you guys are gonna love this one and I'm sure I'll pay dearly for posting it. But I really had to pee and he had no bathroom. So we ran across to where his house was and he had a toilet room behind his house. This has got to be the strangest pic I've ever posed for.

After the bathroom we really wanted to thank Donette for the stew so we went knocking on her door to give her a token of our appreciation. We just paid her what we would have paid to eat out that night and she was very appreciative. We didn't realize they had so many kids and as soon as they saw the white girls at their door they all came out to greet us with thier big smiles and questions. What a beautiful family. The younger girl you see, her and I had a big conversation about crazy hair, I told her that mine looks like hers when its dry and she laughed.

DWRCL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a matter of fact "maybe" it is.

Its the Jamaican version though....real long, good girth.

And it even has a pogo effect for bouncing.

Here are Donette and Harold together before we leave. They gave us their numbers as they rent cabins up in the west end too. I'm going to print and frame this picture and take it to them next time I go back.

Right before we were leaving for the night their littlest one came to say goodbye. He was the sweetest thing, he drew pictures for us to take home with us. If I had a scanner I'd post the one he drew me....its so funny, it resembles some kind of puffball with a face, maybe a Pokemon character even though I know that's not what it is.
I could have taken this little one home with me.

Oh yah and Rick's has nothin on Harold's place! The view of the sunset was just as beautiful, even though it was cloudy. Here's a shot of the water below his place though.

That was pretty much the trip in a nutshell....a very small nutshell. There is so much more to tell as usual. Howards was our last night and the rest of my pics are from the grounds around the Ritz....boring in comparison to the experience. 4 days was just the tip of the iceberg, enough to make me come back and start lookin for the next ticket.

The beach at the Ritz, with free sailboat rides. I didn't go though.
