We FINALLY arrive in Negril, my hometown. First we go to the supermarket to buy up some tings mi neva get back home. Just my cooking gear, jerk sauce, escovietch, coconut rundown. We leave our shopping in Marie's car and head for lunch on the beach. While we were sitting having lunch our waitress comes up and gives me a hug, much to my surprise. As she used to work at my old hangout, Irie. She says its so good to see me back and goes to get Sheldon, another of my friends who now works at this joint. Sheldon comes out with shock since its been 2 years I've been down.

After Sheldon, we get our food and as we're eating the waitress comes to me with her phone and says "there's a call for you". And I'm thinking WTF!!!! LOL. On the other end of the phone I hear "do you know who this is?" I say ummmm nope. Its Lincoln!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My baby!!!!! One of my good friends fram lang time! And he's coming to work at 3:00 down at Irie and we should meet him there. So after lunch we stroll up the empty beach, do some more shopping and get to Irie. I'm sad to see its not Peter bartending, its Clive...someone I don't know. But when I tell him who I am he says he knows all about me.

So Debbie's hangin on the beach while I drink and chat up with Clive.
AFter a couple drinks, some swimming and tanning I'm back at the bar. As I sit and chat with Dwellinginwis (from ETJ), up walks my bwoy Lincoln. What a sight for sore eyes. You have to understand how wonderful Lincoln is and what a good friend he's been, and we lost touch after the hurricane. Since I've come home I've already talked to him as far as our birthdays go....we have almost the same birthday, which is when I'm planning to go back down...In November.

Me & Lincoln catch up on all our old times and then he has to go back into the kitchen to start work (he's a chef at Irie). So of course I order another Rum & Coke and chat up with Dwell for a bit. While I'm chatting I look over and who do I see walking up? the Irie pimp, Jerome. LOL. He's fine and he knows it and he plays it. But he's kind of a sweety anyways. Another one I hang with a lot when I'm down there.

lovin' your trip report. debbie looks totally different with straight hair! i almost didn't recognize her on the plane pic. i'm mad that i didn't get any pics in front of the christmas lights. someone tripped over the cord before i had a chance to do it.

etjers, debbie is definitely a girl worth meeting. she had me in stitches with the stories she told. at sumfest we'd be having a conversation and this chick-in mid sentence mind you-would deviate from what she was saying to say something totally off topic, and then pick up the original conversation as if nothing had ever happened. jc warned me that she'd do it.

here's a conversation i had with debbie:
yeah, i'm having sooo much fun here at sumfest. everyone here has so much energy. everyone is jumping around and the torches look awesome-ohmygod look at that girl over there, she has fat rolls in her back but she's as skinny as can be. that just goes to show that anyone can have fat rolls-so which artist are you most excited about seeing tonight?

gotta love her!

LMFAO!!!!! Yep that's Debbie! She was awesome to travel with. I've been her friend for 20 years and we've NEVER travelled together outside of vacations with our parents when we were young.

And she loves you too.

The thing that shocked me the most was when I looked over and saw her smokin with that dude at Sumfest!!!! LOL...I knew she does it sometimes but it just caught me off guard.

yah that was another mid-sentence moment. she stopped dead in her tracks to say "wow! that smells really good!" and oliver went right along with it, "yah, that's ganja mixed with flavored tobacco, you want some?"

Great trip report JC! Lucea, my Lucea. Loved the pics. By the way your tree is a ponciana and blooms in the summer only. Aren't they gorgeous. They also bloom in Belize and the Bahamas.

CANNOT WAIT UNTIL DECEMBER!!! mentioned to Dee about day trip to Negril...i don't care how much it costs (well kind of a lie...i do care but whatever!!!) i'm coming to Negril for the day (possibly night....warning ya...i snore!!) to visit!!!

can't wait to read more!

Wow.....excellent report...I would give you an a plus if you were in my class...it has Details...great sentence stucture.....good grammar and usage, its interesting....and it has pics of fine ass.....Jamaican guys in it! Looks like you had a grreat time Jammie....makes look forward to my trip even more...LOL......

JMiss, me too, I dunno why but I love going through Lucea. And thanks for the tip on the tree. They actually told me what it is but I forgot the name....must have been all the rum.

I wish you would have been there.

And Lillith....LAWD have mercy when we're together in JA. I'm real excited too so I hope this is a go on all sides. And don't worry....your snore will have to battle my snore. Funny but true story here.....in our hotel room on the last night, Jason was sleeping there with us. I woke in the middle of the night to Debbie turning the TV on loud. I was like "what the f**k are you doing?" She says "if your man there wasn't snoring so loud I'd turn it down." I had to tell her it was ME!!!!! LMFAO!!!! He was sleeping like a baby, the snoring was me.

And Teach, glad you like. I like too. Good times had by all.....just too short. I'll continue tomorrow with this. The rest is the best part of the trip (next to Jason of course).
