Tia & JC, you look beautiful, as usual.
Aww thanks girl. I can't wait to get my damn pics tonight! So I can spend my NEXT sick day writing my report! I'm so excited to relive it.

Tia I loved your report....makes me miss it a LOT!! I'm going to go again this winter sometime and REALLY want to make it back for Sumfest next year. We could make it a girls trip + Oliver.

The only other pics I've seen are of ripe ackees with the big black seeds exposed, looking like some weird alien plant in a sci-fi movie that's waiting for just the right moment to spit sulphuric acid at you or devour you.
the first time my mom and i saw the ackee like this we were wondering if it was some kind of mango. a man walking past said that it was ackee, but that they hadn't opened up yet. this tree was at horace and marie's house and she promised me that she'd blanch and freeze some for me to bring back.

and by the way, you have a very vivid imagination! lol

Re: The trip of unanticipated incidents

I want in. I have to go with Jomo, of course. But, I'll ditch him with his family or friends and do the girl's day/night out thing.

It would be a real switch for me. Everytime I have been to JA, it has been me and all his male friends.

Love those salisbury steaks. Those dry mash potatoes and corn are just the icing on the cake. Just don't read me the ingredients out loud. Don't wanna know!

Re: The trip of unanticipated incidents

Maybe some of his friends. Some are kind of questionable and I wouldn't let loose on anyone I care about.

Re: The trip of unanticipated incidents

You know how there are people you know that you just would not subject to anyone you want to continue to be friends with? That is how I would describe some of his friends. Hey, consider it a compliment that I say I care enough about (most) people on here that I wouldn't want these idiots to bother the people I care about.
