hiya,got back a day ago,just woke up from the jet lag!!had the most AWESOME time!Seriously,I cant even describe it,well I could but I'd be here ALL day!I went with my sis,and she got on the plane,was like mute for the whole trip home she was so sad,and shes just called 2 say shes rebooked for new year so were ok now!Ive been 2 the caribbean b4 but jamaica is lik nothing b4-we did stay in negril but i got out and about with a friend i met and so i think i partially saw what the locals call home.We did stay in a big hotel and I know they r looked down on but we wanted tht for the first trip.I swear there were ppl who stayed in every day and night but we were out living it up every night in the jungle/roots bamboo/bourbon beach etc.lol.Actually cuz we were 2 single grls,we stood out like a sore thumb in the posh coupley/family hotel but we loved it like tht!!we LOVEEEEE JAMAICA!And,we really..really..cant wait until new year!bring it on!love xx

I was there in Mo Bay over Christmas/New Years 2005/06 and can tell you it is a great time to go.

hey Jamcan,we went everywhere-the jungle was immense,especially as u didnt hav 2 go outside 2 get food!lol.I really loved roots aswell and alfreds was good 4 a chilled night.we did visit ricks and my sis loved it,it was beautiful,but i felt the addiction 2 the raw parties where everyone was so loving it!!ahh yeh totally addicted & some of the men are so bootiful!!aww!missing it bad! xxxxxxxxxx

My favorite part about the Jungle is local night (Thursdays), and the fact that you can be outside on the roof cooling off. Oh and that you can take your drin with you when you leave.

If you are asking if we live in Jamaica, the answer is no. I am in St. Louis, MO. JamCan is somewhere in the Canadian wilderness (kidding!). We have plenty more advice, though, if you need it. JamCan is the Negril expert. I've been mostly to Mo Bay and know it like the back of my hand. Both of us have stayed/stay with friends and not in resorts.

Sadly, I won't be going back too soon. Happily, the reason is my Jamaican came home with me last week. It's all good!!!

u guys are funny.Im from england so jamaica is really different n yeh,I was loving negril so much.We esp jungle on thurs cuz we cud get in free n the guys had 2 pay!!made us feel special!lol!! x

when we fly in december-were goin air jamaica,but..a few ppl hav been tellin us horror stories about them cancelling flights alot and majorly overbooking and now having enough room for everyone?anybody know much about this or is it all porkies?cheers xxxxxxxxxxx

As far as I am concerned, all airlines are having issues right now. I had trouble with NWA, AA, & Delta on my last 3 flights.
