Well it seems the dollar is finally getting somewhat stable. Its a shame that it has to skyrocket then drop a fraction of the height it went to and were supposed to be content with that. Whatever.

Sooner or later everything will equal out. Are tourism and coffee two of the biggest(legal) industries in Jam? How about the aluminum biz? Or, is that just causing long-term damage to the countryside? If they are mining properly, then that isn't too bad.
If tourism is the greatest focus for the future, then crime must be addressed. The number one question on other boards asked by potential travelers is, "Is Jamaica safe?". I attempt to reassure them but you know how people can be, especially if they have kids. The only problem with controlling crime is then you get a controlling government and that is not the best solution. It's a dawn- of- time thing. Ever since man found out he had an opposing thumb and could pick up a stick or a stone we've been smacking each other ever since. What a waste! Gotta love Jam., though. Most of the people I've met there are more decent than the tourists! Enjoy!

Jamaica sweet nuh rahtid. Just keep in mind what sweet you can sour u. As with anywhere else you always gotta be careful. Its best if youre there with a local to show you the ropes so you dont get ripped off and so you avoid certain areas.
