Can someone help me out please? I'm getting confused by all the info. Am I right in believing that Jamaicans wanting to enter the UK now have to have GBP £2800 in their bank account for a minimum of three months before they are allowed a visa? Can't the UK person be the sponser anymore or is this in ADDITION to what the person in the UK must have in their bank account or is it either or?

Does anyone know what the new rules are for bringing a spouse to the UK are you still expected to apply for a marriage visa AND a transit visa?
