HAMILTON, Ontario - A beautiful woman can make a guy stupid - and now
there's science to prove it. Researchers at McMaster University showed male students pictures of women, both attractive and not-so-attractive.

But after seeing a very attractive woman, the men were more likely to make dumb choices.

The Canadian researchers asked the male students to roll dice. If they rolled double digits, they were given a choice of taking $15 to $35 the next day or up to $75 after waiting a while. The men who saw the attractive women
were more likely to take the lesser amount. The researchers say they tried the same test with female students.

But there was no lessening of intelligence among the women after looking at hunks. The researchers say men stop thinking about long-term consequences once the hormones kick-in.

I really like this topic!

First that just goes with what you see in the movies and commercials all the time....guy sees babe....guy trips over curb or walks into lightpost.

Babe on tv never trips up when she sees hot guy. Do you think those writers knew about this science test when they wrote the scripts? Makes one wonder.

I just think the men are focused solely on the hot babe like having blinders on. Doesn't mean they turn stupid, maybe just a one track mind.

I want to know who was stupid enough to pay for this study... oh yeah, it was us taxpayers, or at least the canadian ones. How does one get selected to participate in one of these studies, anyway? Can we do one at Hedo in Jam? Enjoy!

OLDSALT you'd be surprised at what our Canadian tax dollas pay for. Which could be why we pay almost the highest taxes known to man! Doesn't seem right does it.....

Samba I agree with you and I did come across that article on why does a cookie crumble. These scientists really have nothing better to do it seems but waste tax payers money.

You all know I'm not a scientist, right? ... But could it be "di two heads syndrome" .. some men (not all) may suffer with this, While di blood is rushing to supply energy to one head (di smaller head) the other head (di big one) is being depleted of needed oxygen, leaving it in a stupor stage.

Well catagoricaly I can tell you this is not true!!! whereas my intellegence level usually increases & maybe their's would have too if they were looking at very attractive women yet they were just looking at paper/whatever; so unless they were very telepathic the photos perchance energized them to seek some sort of contact, so they didn't really care about the $. Whereas the women are more adept to wait untill they feel in the best mood so would wait for the $, if the pictures really energized them at all. Later Carl
