I don't drink cola or coffee.Not caus' the caffine, I just don't like the taste.
Once, maybe 20 years ago(I'm 34) i fixed me an instant coffee and I used too much off it, so I got an coffine-flash.I never wanna experience that again.
First I got dizzy, then I couldn't talk right no more and last I got terrible headache.

Caffine was just an example, there are so many things out there, like those energy-drinks and I don't know what else.

Did you ppl know that parsley contains poison which can kill humans ?

For the record, Jamaican based scientists have developed medication from the extracts of the ganja plant that treats glaucoma, another for appetite (cancer patients, etc). I should note that you wont find this mentioned in any major US publication.
The ganja plant contains many chemicals, not all need to be consumed by the body in un-controlled proportions, so the medicine solves the need from sick people to smoke it. Oh, and its cheap medicine, took 30 years to develop but be won't have people dying for medication .
Sven and other users, could you mention any side-effects from smoking ganja?. I cant seen to get people to answer this question.

First of all ROFL @ "users" I never considered myself that....that sounds like strung-out druggie.....but as far as side-effects, I answered this question Samba.....

It relaxes, causes you to REALLY focus and have in-depth looks at all kinds of topics, it makes me want to dance, laugh, eat, have sex and eventually sleep (not necessarily in that order).

Oh, and I have never started flippin' out because I don't have any herb or had any problem not smoking (while I was pregnant & breast-feeding). To me it's the same thing as having a beer to wind you down after work. I understand that it's not everybody's thing, but don't knock other people for enjoying it.....it's not crack we're talking about here.....

But as far as side effects - I think they are probably different for everyone....Sven? What do you say?

To me Hemp is like an amplifier.

When I started to smoke there were these three "side-effects", everybody knows about:
1. Talking and laughing unstoppable.
2. Munchies.
3. Tiredness.

After I started smoking everyday(day & night), these "side-effects" left but another one showed up, a positive one: Wisdom !

Through listening to Reggae-music and smoking weed, I recognized Babylon.
The material-world.

Something else:
If I talk to ppl about hemp, I tell them to forget the "high-factor" of hemp for a minute and I teach them about all the other positive things you can do with the plant Hemp !

In the year 1942 Henry Ford built a car out of hemp !

Personally, the biggest "side-effect" is the price you pay for beeing involved with hemp in any way.

I got caught holding weed at my job, after 15 years of working there I got fired, no pardon !
If I would've been drunk and messin' up, I would've had the chance to go to a therapy and I would've kept my job !

This has happened on Sunday, March 10th, 2002 at the German part of General Motors, which is called "OPEL".

sorry to hear about that 'terrible' side effect sven, with you losing you job and all that. But you do have a point when comparing weed to alchol, they would give the alcholic a chance to sober up and to keep his job if he leaves rehab clean. Maybe company policy have not opened up so as to accomodate 'hemp/weed' smokers.

Personally, I can't have a job with testing & stuff.....that's too much cutting into what I like to do in my PERSONAL time...as long as I don't show up to work high and I do my job VERY WELL, nobody should be able to tell me what I can and cannot do after hours.....

£1m campaign to explain cannabis laws

A £1million advertising campaign was launched today to explain the new law on cannabis.

Radio and newspaper advertisements will warn that the drug remains illegal and that users can still face arrest.

The publicity drive follows concerns, first highlighted in the Evening Standard, that many people do not understand how the new law will work.

From next Thursday, cannabis will be downgraded from class B to class C and most people caught with the drug will be let off with a warning.

In the Netherlands we have the so called "coffeeshops".
It is legal to sell sofdrugs (hasjies, weed/ no alcohol) in these coffeshops.
You can buy it legally but if they want then the police can take it in. It's also illegal to suply the coffeshops, that is strange because they can sell it. It's allowed to carry around 5 grams. It's also allowed to grow your own plants up till 5 pieces. You will not be arrested if you smoke a spliff on the street.........

A Jamaican told me it's only an herb. He also said he doesn't use it because it makes him lazy. What is everybody's thoughts on that.

You should find out.Hemp is known as the best natural aphrodisiac.
I don't know about bamboo but every plant contains some kinda drug.
Nutmeg for example.Dangerous.
Like I wrote earlier parsley contains poison but you have to eat around 30 kilos of it to die.
