That clip bought back so many memories!

the most vivid one is the night we heard the gunshot which seemed like a million of them and it seemed to go on FOREVER!.. we watched the police carry the 5 body bags from the apartment in Landover Maryland where my family lived. Our apt faced the apt of the Jamaican ppl living there. It was terrifying!

when ppl talk about the violence in JA being from US influence, I laff becuase one of the most horrific, deadly and violent gangs the US has ever seen has been a JA one!

One thing the clip did not focus on was the participation that the US government had on the drug trafficing in the 1980's......all the way to your boy Ronald Regan who pumped the damaging drug into the urban areas.

dats why when certain ppl hail him the greatest pres in american history...many of us know the truth and see his time in power as the darkest of our time!

Even if that were true, that does not mean that there was no US influence. Just the fact that you saw this in in the US, means that there was US influence.
Good old US influence.

It is said here, that the showere posse was the enforcing arm of the JLP. Also, in the 70s when the PNP was in power, and Michael Manley was flirting too closely with socialism and Cuba for the comfort of the USA, the USA played an active part in agitating for the destabilization of the Manley regime by helping out the JLP and said shower posse with the acquisition of guns and ammunition. Oh, and there was the CIA activities on the island as well.

reponsiblity BountyX....responsiblity!!! where is your sence of it. u continue to "blame" the US for this typa behaviour when it is obvious, (as the same conditions exit in every poor area) that the enviroment that the ppl are living in causes a sence of hoplessness and thus influences this behavior of violence as an act of rage agaisnt the conditions.! stop blaming the US. --and even still.....if little johhny was influened by little adam to kill and rape little sally.....DOES THAT EXONERATE little johny?? or does it make him apprear to be, not only violent, but weak minded as well for being so easily influenced?

Oh you dont want me to get started on the crimes of the US... The US hands are dirty as can possibly be! Our media here has convinced ppl otherwise though.... we are victim....LOLOL!--
