I don't WANT to look cute in an Acura cuz mostly I'd be thinking about how many hungry kids I coulda helped with the price tag on one.

My husband DID buy new cars every year. It made me sick cuz I ended up paying for all the IMPORTANT stuff.

BTW I don't purchase much. I've broken 4 pairs of flip flops in the last 2 months....you know why? Cuz they're all 5 years old!!!

I drive an old car, a 2000. And people always ask me when they haven't seen me in a while "did you get a new car"? Probably because I take care of it, instead of buying new ones.

Anyways it was just the hungry kids refference I was tripping on because you may not buy new flip flops or a new car but you spend ur extra money on travelling cuz that makes you happy... so I guess it doesnt differ from a car.. a car is sumthing that is a bigger investment and will (proly) be worth the purchase as well.. the safer the car the better... and it will go along a few years... everybody purchases what makes dem happy so... its a matter of opinion.

I think a safe car is wayyyyyyy more important then a cute car I mean u put yu pickney dem in it right? Safe is the way to go!

Sorry it doesn't matter to me, what is under the hood, you can still get stuck in the snow in any car and I once bought a car because it matched the new purse I bought...so for me it just an accessory, and Groovey i dunno why you surprised at the relentless stubborn nature of your bride on this matter....because if werent for that quality, you might not be married to her, so you should just reward her with what she wants!
