I have been bitten by a spider about ten minutes ago...It hurts like heck.....I don't think it was poisonous...any body have spider bite remedy....

98% of spider bites don't cause long-term harm. To make it feel better or stop itching mix 3 parts baking soda and 1 part water. If you develop any of these severe symptoms go to ER immediately- stomach pain, severe headache, chills sweating- generally flu-like Sx. Also, if it swells up considerably or you become short of breath, develop hives, that is a sign of an allergic reaction and you should seek treatment soon.

Well its been about half an hour and i have no real symptoms...no swelling or anything it just hurts...like a tetnus shot....took an aspirin and did the baking soda thing....I caught the nasty lil bastard and killed him have him in a ziplock bag in case I need him....

Amputation usually takes care of it.

Watch the site the next few days, Teach. I know someone who had a red streak sort of go up her arm after a bit. Crazy old woman never bothered to tell anyone till they rushed her to the ER and pumped her full of antibiotics.....saying any later and they would've had to do some major surgery to cut out the dead tissue.

That was a brown recluse and we have issues with those here in Missouri.

oh good Lord that is a nasty looking thing...I am phobic of spiders. I often crush Benadryll (an antihistamine) and mix with water to make a paste and apply to bee bites and it works really fast at taking the swelling and pain down. What kinda spider is that???

Ok here is an update on my spider bite...
First @ Sunshyne...I dunno the nasty Kind I guess! Tried to identify him but couldn't
Last night i woke in the middle of the night from fitful dreams..thinking it must be axiety cause of my spider bite..iwas sweating profusely, my stomach hurt and I thought I was going to puke, had a fever 102.5! I was pretty sure I was going to die a horrible spider death! I took some Tylenaol as as is my usual way I went into denial and went back to sleep pretending that it was all just ok...woke in the morning with my arm so soar I could hardly move it but my fever was gone and my stomach ache had subsided..the bite looke like nothing today...but my arm still hurt..I called the Dr. his nurse told me some spiders can pack a wallop in their bites but if my symptoms were subsiding it was probably not likely I was in danger...she suggested if i wanted to I could go to the emergency room but I am not doing that..I feel better now, but my arm still hurts like all get out!

Yuh not dead yet??
