Anybody wanna gain weight?

Hey peeps, i used to be 9st, and at 5ft 7 i was a "perfect" size in the English media view - but too skinny for my liking. i have a small frame but have recently gained a stone and a few pounds after goin to the gym, eating 4-6x a day and having an additional supplement for weight gain.

Its gone straight to my ass, but its all good lol

I know its probabley rare, but is there anybody who wants to gain weight?

Any tips you could share on calorie/weight full meals?

guiness punch is a good for anybody who wants to see a quick difference of a few pounds or so

I drink protein shakes when I want to gain weight.

That's weird JG because I was told by a fitness person to drink protein shakes when trying to lose weight.

OH! Mine are just water and protein powder and I was told to drink them right after working out.

JC protein shakes helps to build lean muscle. Anytime you are on a weight lose program there is a chance you could lose a little bit of muscle. So a lot time people that are dieting are not loosing just fat, but they are also loosing muscle. There body composition has not changed one bit. Also if a person is just dieting or eating once or twice a day, their metabolism will slow down and the body will go into famine mode. The body will then horde all of the food taken in and store it....food retention. The muscles will start to feed on themselves and the person will began to loose muscle, hence the no muscle tone. It can also cause a host of health issues such as a weakened heart and immune system. Diets don't work because they are a temproary fix and cannot be maintained over a lifetime. A lifestyle change is needed to ensure long term results and I have gone completely out in left field with this explanation...time to reel it in. Anyhoo, protein shakes will help maintain the lean muscle mass. A good rule of thumb is 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. But some people also use it gain weight. There are brands of protein out there for hard gainers such as Muscle Milk. BTW, too much protein can cause liver damage.

Eating 6 times a day - small meals makes your metabolism go faster causing you to lose weight. If you want to gain weight, eat at night and have bigger portions. As for me, I'm trying to lose, I gained about 100 pounds over the course of two years I was 150 and now im 240. Time to start hitting the treadmill because the weights just make me gain more weight

You can gain weight by eating 6 times a day too. There is a science behind it. You can also do weights without bulking up.

ive never truly appreciated how bad other peoples reactions to skinny people are until i lost a lot of weight myself. ive always gone up and down with my weight so have seen it from both sides and was pissed off to find that when you are skinny people generally think its ok to tell you how awful and ill you look and openly express shock at your appearance. however when youve put a bit of weight on i found the opposite. people would make comments like your looking 'healthy' or 'well'. none of the open disgust that being skinny attracted. even being 'in the middle' pissed me off. its ludicrous to say to someone that they were too skinny or too fat before but now they are ok. how the hell can anyone monitor their weight to a level thats perceived perfect by others and why the hell should they

got that off my chest thanks lol

Girl, after reading this you are my new best friend. I have been trying to gain weight since I was like 7 years old LMAO! I HATE BEING THIN. When I am consistent this works but its HARD work if you have a high metabolism like i do. I finally got the three month birth control shot instead and blue up wayyyyyy past what my goal was.

When i gain weight it NEVER goes to my hips and but, it goes to my knees, neck and face LMAO!

I usually do the folliwng:

-Work out 5 days a week. With two of those days being some form of cardio class. The rest is weight resistance.
-Eat 4 to 6 meals a day half big and the other half small
- In additon to the meals I drink about two protein shakes.
- Get into my bed and lie reallllly still so it doesn't burn off LMAO! j/k

ben tryna gain weight also...always been a UK size 8 and 8stone 3lbs...but i just dont like that weight i would perfer to be about 9stones and a UK size 10...i think it jus fits my height so far...well inna year ive put on 7lbs...so im 8stones 10lbs now...and ive done that by just eating whenever i want...i can lose weight so easily, but its real hard to gain it...but so far ive been able to stay at my current weight

I tired protein shakes for weight loss..ok I drunk one shake but it was so FOUL VILE URGH!! The tin now sits happily in my cupboard.

i recently gained 5 lbs lol...not sure how...i think its cause i've been relaxing alot, due to my shoulder injury...oh and eating alot lol

I have a big problem. I was diagnosed with IBS idk if a lot of people know what that is but basically stomach issues alll the time. In order for the symptoms to get better Im not supposed to drink any pop because it has too much carbonation - eat as little fast food as possible...8 glasses of water a day..workout every other day for a half hour cardio...healthy healthy healthy. When I was diagnosed with it I lost like 10 pounds because every time I ate it would upset my stomach and then I didnt wanna eat anymore because of that I was miserable constantly...but its getting a little better and my butt legs stomach is all normal...im 5'4 105 lbs i was 115 before i was diagnosed ive always had skinny arms but they’re worse then they were before and I need to find a way to add fat to my arms shoulders and back but I don’t want to add muscle. I think it looks gross when really skinny ppl like me put lots of muscle on they’re arms and it looks odd...so I need a way to gain in those areas without eating the bad food for my IBS and not going to the tummy and not to mention I realllllly don’t have a big appetite and also with the IBS your not supposed to overeat and that’s a way to gain weight but I cant really do that option. If anyone could help me I would appreciate more then you can imagine thanks so much!!!
