sickness
Where does sickness come from?
We dwell in a very confusing world. One fact is obvious though: sickness is real in our world and all of us sooner or later face an illness or another. Some are quickly healed, others take longer and others never get healed. Interpretations about the origin of sickness is even more confusing.
Some blame it to viruses and bacteria. "If we could get rid of all of them, we would be fine!" Others blame it on genetics. "It's all my parents and grandparents fault!" (at least they can't blame their mother-in-law!) Others blame it on the environment, and still others blame God.
Some even go as far as to blame aliens from outer space! Who is right in all this?

Wow, good question, I think we ourselves are to blame

Re: sickness
You can mentally make yourself sick. It's all in the head even though I'd agree that there are times when there seems to be an exception to this rule.
But it can come from anywhere: environment, genetics...I won't say aliens or God. But I can't think of others factors besides the two I said...

Re: sickness
Lets Focus A Little.
In the book of genesis...it reads in part..and the LORD God commanded the man, 'You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die.'" Here is the first indication of possible sickness and death: disobedience: "you will surely die."
"But wait a minute! When Adam and Eve sinned, they didn't die!" No, they didn't die, not immediately. They lived for hundreds of years after the incident, but they eventually did die. Why did it take them so long to die?

First..... There death was of God's will, there is a purpose for all of us. And besides....I am still hesitant to believe they were two actually people and not a metaphor of some sorts...but that's for a different thread.
As for sickness, the growth of the worlds population has much to do with it, as well as the effects of many other resources...such as burning of gases, fuels, the deforestation, mutation of other diseases...etc....
There are so many factors in sickness that I believe it to be a bit overwhelming. At the same though...there are many more advancements with cures and/or treatments.
And on the last note..... Out of all that happens, I do believe there to be a reason and purpose.

Re: sickness
i believe sickness is borne of many reasons but it doesnt help those inflicted or those caring for those inflicted to try and pinpoint a reason or blame something or someone.
