I wanna know how each of you happened to stumble across ETJ?

I was doing a search on things Jamaican, recipes and stuff, after my last trip in May. That's how I found ETJ and I decided to read some of the topics. Once I discovered MAD, No Fear, and KC I immediately fell in looooooooove and registered! LOL

I too was doing a general search.

Was doing search on Hon. Marcus M. Garvey, maroons and saw this site, read the posts and found them refreshing. Been hooked ever since.

I mentioned this in another thread....I met this JA guy and wanted to find out more about his culture and he was coming to see me, so I was also looking for recipes. And I too am an ETJ addict....

i was searching for a recipe when i found ETJ. i registered but i was an "observer" for the longest time. when i found an opportune moment i responded to a thread and the rest is history.

Recipes....LOL....seems ETJ needs to keep the recipes and the Jamaican men and all will be well on this site! Let's hear from some of the newcomers.....how did you all come across this site???

well I was a member of a startup Jamaican forum but it went under, but before it did I started to search for another which was not as prominent as Jamaicans.com, one which was young and had potential.

I remembered this site too, when it initially launched several years ago and they had a Jamaican search engine named surfbar 1.0, so I was curious to see it work again, however it was revised and the bar no longer existed. Anyway i joined and hooked ever since.

That's a good thing KC because I signed up for Jamaicans.com recently just to see what it was like and I hated it. Its sooooo big that you might never run into the same person twice. PLUS....I find this site much more user friendly....waaay more pleasing to the eye too.
And the most important thing about ETJ is that its my second home......I LOVE everyone here and couldnt' imagine loving other people somewhere else!

ok im gonna tell the truth. well i was looking for a better website than go-jamaica.com.
and so i had a hard time. so fi mi everyting a jamaican fi mi. mi house fulla all di jamaican colazz. black, green an goal. mi sheet dem paah mi bed....EVERYTING so i just started to get restless an jus put in "everythingjamaica.com" inna di search bar, an den de page show up an sey "did you mean "everythingjamaican.com"
so i clicked the link an then thats how i found you guyz. and my life had become a better thing. aah mi did uptight at fuss but den yuh know, ETJ is all about relaxation.
so a dass how mi fine ETJ..
