Re: Jamaican men reputation
there is a proverb here in my country: If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans....
and i see it as that.I embrace whatever comes to me and I do not believe my will will change a thing, I believe it is all written down and the only thing I can do is keep my face up and bear all with dignity or enjoy to the fullest the beautiful moments...

Lilly is a member that has supposedly left the forum, members get scared away and then come back with different names. See the thing about ETJ is that foreign women will go to JA and fall in love with these boys who make it their business to prey on foreign women. No one is saying that its impossible or stupid to love a ja man, i love one, but he is not a leech trying to get his papers! That is what they do, they carry on these long term relationships, in hopes to get out, with you and whomever else...and its pretty silly that grown women with children fall for the game.

oh, ok, I am not lillie white..was just asking if it was not a term you use as I am not english mother tongue....
well, i have a three years old daughter and believe me, it has changed me, I now even sometimes remeber to do the shopping ))
I am thirty and I am not regarded as being very responsible, it is true. But I also think that you should do some decent planning concernig facts like a stabile income, this comes without saying.
But as to love? or affection? or whatever it might be? noooooooo, noooooo, noooo. I think the only beautiful and fully free moments should be those attached to love, without any planning what so ever. Another thing is that a lot of JA men are as you described above, I just came back from JA and noticed that, too. But I think the girl has already fallen for the boy, and when you fall for somebody, there is no way out, that is why I was saying that she should just enjoy it, drag the best out of it because when she hits the floor again, the only thing that will keep her up, is the beautiful memories.....

Re: Jamaican men reputation
and I didnt feel attacked at all, I love exchanging opinions and outlooks on the world and this site amzes me a lot....you see how basic stereotyping about people and nations does not work....JA responsible people and a nothern European woman with no responsability for the future at all....doesnt the stereotype say it should be the other way round

Re: Jamaican men reputation
No... there are just certain requirements I need in a potential mate... and most of those take time to find out if people have them or not.
A long time.
