A couple of you have PM'd me about my recent posts about my "pain" so I thought I'd create this thread.

I'm out of work for awhile. I've suffered for 2 1/2 years with a couple of herniated cervical discs, and been through several pain flares . . . but the latest one has been the longest and worst so far. So, I have to go have another MRI and then decide whether or not I'll go through a series of 3 Epidural Steroid Injections in my neck -- or whether I'll just opt for the cervical fusion that I know I can't escape. The MRI may make the decision for me.

So . . . if I'm not online much or post often, it's because I'm flat in bed. Being up for more than a few minutes puts me in severe pain.

Whatever decision you make, I hope it will give you some relief. I don't know how you live with pain like that.

As for me, I got a little good news this weekend. After more blood tests, my liver enzyme levels have returned to normal so that means I do NOT have any blockage in my common bile duct. SO... I only have to deal with the gallstones/gallbladder removal surgery.

I have to go to a "class" on Tues Oct 7... gotta love Kaiser... and then I can decide when to have my surgery. I will probably be down for the count for about a week... fortunately I have a laptop so you all can't get rid of me... you will have to hear every miserable moment of my recovery. lol.
