This is the thread for the Brit crew to discuss all things British such as news, current events, entertainment, sport, todays papers, last nights tv - and basically just to have someone to talk to when our friends over the pond are still sleeping. it gets boring round here in the morning!

so I'll kick off with something really important.

is anyone watching Big Brother? I didnt see last years as i was in Jamaica for most of it. this year i decided i'd grown out of it. but then i happened to see one episode when Alex was kicking off and have watched it since.

So is ALex a bully or just an outspoken woman who is misunderstood. Who gets your vote for eviction?

I say keep Alex in to keep everyone on their toes and get Mario out for being a patronising sleazeball.

They both need to go, but I am disliking Alex more than Super Mario. I was saying to this girl at work the other day, I just WISH that Big Brother would put in a "normal" black girl for a change.

I'm fed up of seeing these ghetto-fabulous, finger waving, neck rolling, "you-get-me-doah" chicks that they keep putting in there. Fed up man! Chu!

My fav one is Kathreya

yeh alex is a walking cliche. remember Mel from the first one ever? she was pretty normal, bit slutty but normal. i just hate supermario's heroic attempts at helping a blind man. not sure who kathreya is but i want the chubby oriental bird to win. shes lovely.

oh no!!!! Newcastle are playing at Old Trafford on the FIRST day of the season. this is also the very day AFTER my dear departed mothers birthday and the day BEFORE the anniversary of her death. this is hardly gonna cheer me up on the worst 3 days of my year. think ill book a flight to Ja.

watch caribbean cops on virgin1 2nite at 10pm. last week yours truly was on. though i did a half hour interview on negril beach they completely cut my insightful intelligent piece and used me for gratuitous bikini shots only.

hoping this week they decide to show my true star quality.

anyway its fun to watch to see who we can spot.

I'm sooooooooooooooo enjoying that show. I'd hate to be anywhere near the North Coast during spring break though
