There are more moderators watching for repeat threads, the posts and types of conversations that are being carried etc. They are very organised in terms of they types of posts they allow in certain places. Although a lot more strict than forum number one and even ETJ ... people have great conversations and their members are quite lively and active members of that community as opposed to forum #1.

Now ETJ. I think members here don't realise just HOW LIBERAL this site is. Certain threads like the Sound Clash, Certified Post Whores, etc.. they wouldn't really be allowed on forum # 2 (from what I've observed), on forum #1 maybe but then nobody even posts there really. I think that what the Admin & the moderators try to do is let people have their fun BUT... this site isn't specifically about 1 thing. Like some forums are specifically about music, or cars, or fashion, or whatever... it is easy to loose focus and labba labba. They allow it on ETJ a lot... but I think what ADMIN & the MOD team are trying to convey is this:

Have lots of fun, post and enjoy your time here BUT let's not allow LIBERTY to ruin the site....

I will make a general statement here as a heads up and precautuion in reference to other forums.

We must always keep in mind that when we go to other forums that we cannot treat it as an ETJ. Trus' mi. I suggest we feel out the forum a lil and them post moderately. If we do go to other forums.

You are so correct Bashment, ETJ is very liberal here even though it has rules. So now people will have a greater appreciation for ETJ.

This was such a positive thread, why do illiterate, ignorant people always have to take it there??? Bashy, you were extremely articulate, and WE all get the message that you were trying to convey. I swear, there should be a selective process to become an ETJ member..LOL!!!! Some of these people ruffle my feathers

Another thing I want to say is, what ever goes on in another forum stays there like wise here. Too much confusion, passa passa and ting.

Just be apart of what ever forum and cool out.

I love ETJ. I dont post very often but i always read the posts. And everyone hear is always very nice and supportive. I looked into GoLocalJamaica and most of the posts were either argumentive/rude/ competetive, or very racist. This is a wonderful site here, i just wish we had a chat room!!!!!!!!

Hello all !! Thanks for the positive comments on ETJ. We do try to make it as enjoyable as possible within the rules Now, would you believe it. Even though there is admin here, all the mods are from the member body? Admin rarely has to take action anymore because the mods are doing a really good job on keeping the forum in good standing. So finally my point (ha ha) is that the forum is now being operated by all of the members and the member mods
In otherwords, the forums' destiny is mainly in your hands, with the occasional miracle from admin ofcourse, lmao

Anyway back to topic... I agree. This forum is VERY liberal, and it is refreshing - although sometimes some of the stuff does make my hair curl
