Fighting the voices in my head.
Am I the only one who hears voices in my head??? You know, those voices that say things that your mouth would never say?
Like when your boss is sitting in front of you providing you with some "developmental feedback". Your mouth says "thank you for the feedback) -- but in your head, you hear those likkle voices say "Whatever Jerk!" Or, when that cute guy gets on the elevator with you first thing in the morning. Your mouth says "Good morning", but the voices in your head are saying "Check out that arse!" What do the voices in your head say???

ROTFLMMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!! No Lilly you're not the only one. But the voices in MY head would never use polite words like JERK. Its much uglier.

One time, this lady jumped in front of me in a line. I daresay she was "rather large" -- a good 400 pounds . . . and when she cut me, her "butt shelf" bumped into me so hard that I lost my balance. I didn't fall, but I almost fell. My mouth said "Excuse me. I must've bumped into you." The voice in my head said something SO UGLY I can't even post it here.
Jammie -- just goes to show you that the voices in my head aren't always polite!

My problem is that I do not leave the thoughts in my head. When I went to a class reunion, a guy came up to me and said, " Why in heaven's name would you want to move to Jamaica?" I said it so fast I didn't have time to bite my tongue, " To get away from people like you". Then I told him the real reasons, but he didn't talk to me for very long.

Well Miss, if someone said that to me I'd react too. I think it sounds FULL of judgement just the way it was said.
