Re: What would be your FINAL farewell song???

There can only be one true song:

Monty Python - Always Look on the Bright Side of Life

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHPOzQzk9Qo

(errmmm... if you are very, very, very religious maybe this isnt for you...video is a comedy showing people on a cross singing)

CLASSIC Lyrics:

"what have you got to lose?
You know, you come from nothing
- you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost?

....(Nothing.)

Nothing will come from nothing ya know what they say?
Cheer up ya old bugga c'mon give us a grin!
There ya go, see!"

love that too.
"always look on the bright side of death, just before you draw your terminal breath" classic filme.

anyway I have 2. AInt Nobody by Rufus & Chakha Khan and Feeling Good by Nina Simone. for my mother we played 3 Times a Lady by the Commodores both as she was dying so she could appreciate it, and in the church. At her graveside we played Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi as we threw roses onto her coffin. was beautiful.

Well it’s just 2 of my posts that I mentioned slugs. But if there was a
gardening forum on ETJ - I would mention that slugs make an exhalent
fertilizer.
Doug and the Slugs was a famous rock group from Vancouver BC.
The lead singer was dying when he wrote “Cover Me With Roses” and its
a beautiful song. If you can find a free download for the song I can almost
guarantee you will enjoy it. Cheers!

Re: What would be your FINAL farewell song???

If I go in some alcohol and drug induced coma, I might like "The End" by the Doors.
