I was talking about the mother. I am not insecure or jealous. I encourage my partner to be involved in the child's life - I have no problem with that.
I was referring to the mother who on the day I got married tried to ruin it (although she was very sorry for her actions after)- so my memories of the day are not as good as they should be. I am trying to get over it - but it is not easy.

JB1965,
The tone of this post seems more genuine than the first and so I shall put all sarcasm aside...
I can understand how much of an impact a potentially bad wedding day can have on a woman. I know that each time you view your wedding pictures or video, some remnants of this woman's futile actions will linger.
Still, though it was a very special day in your life, you can not allow it to get under your skin. Stop trying to get "over" it. Embrace it and dissolve it.
Sure, the dark clouds of a scorned woman produced an overcast and attempted to rain on your parade, but i am sure you have had many a sunny, bright and cheerful day in your marriage since then.
What is one gloomy day compared to the rest of your wonderful (married) life?
You are his bride and his First Lady. Live up to that position by exhibiting the grace and charm that comes with the package.
Be the Queen, Love your King and honor his Princess.
Ignore the rest.
All the best.
