Bonita Jamaica was created to share information with the world about our great land and people. Of course, 'Bonita' is a Spanish word that means pretty or beautiful. Jamaica is no ordinary place and its people are plain amazing. It is a poor developing country but it is rich with pride, culture, and heritage. We would like to thank Christopher Columbus for running into us in 1494 and we would like to pay tribute to all the forerunners who did their part in helping to make Jamaica the great place it is today. We are a strong resilient people in a land that is equally strong, with mountains and plains that help to protect us from whatever may come. God made us very well and we thank him for that. Jamaica is our home but we are aware that we are citizens of the world. So we fearlessly roam God's world and we hardly conform to the rules that man have made to prevent us from doing so. See you in Jamaica.
