American, European or Japanese?
OK, Just state: "American, European or Japanese"...?.
- What do you drive NOW? (American, European or Japanese),
- What's your preference and Why? (American, European or Japanese),
- Sedan, SUV, Coupe, Station Wagon or Truck?
Do you believe that one make is better than the other based on its origin (American, European or Japanese), or based on the individual Make (Chrysler, Honda, etc) or Model?
If you could afford your dream car, what would be the factors influencing your choice...Performance, Features, Popularity, Resale value or Beauty?

Re: American, European or Japanese?
Own Japanese-European-American: Mitsubishi is partly owned by Damlier-Chrysler.
Preference: Based on my needs. Mostly Japanese (Honda & Toyota), my best pick would be BMW (M Series). It's an engineers car ok.
Better is based on: It's based on the technological level of advancement. Toyota & Honda have the jump start on reliability. BMW is just the best, most complete engine in my book. It's like the rotary of reciprocating engines.

100% on that.
My next car will be a BMW or nothing.
I dont care whether a car is Japanese, American or European. If it looks good and have superior performance and I like it, I buy it.
I dont care whether its popular or unpopular.
As a matter of fact, for the greater part of my life, I have refrained from going after the most popular anything.

Re: American, European or Japanese?
I buy based on my needs. Right now I'm thinking of a scooter to move around in Kingston. My present car was for the long driving on rough roads.

My buy is also influenced by the availability of a skilled and trustworthy technician who car maintain the car. For example, BMW just changed dealers in Jamaica about a year now. I would have to wait 2-3 years before I buy a car from them. Let them go learn on someone else's car.

Yeah.
In a situation such as you have in Jamaica, I guess location and the resulting availability of experienced car dealers, would be a major factor in your choice of cars as well.

Re: American, European or Japanese?
You seem to like bikes. What am I gonna do with that in traffic? It's a crime to ride something like that at 15MPH. The poor thing is just begging to be let free.
Does the bike come with the assistant?
A BMW engine is unique. No other engine sounds like it.

Re: American, European or Japanese?
I admire big bikes, the sheer power in the small frame. Awesome. Would I own one, nope. Give me a dirt bike or a scotter.
What does this have 2 do with Japanese cars?
I admire planes as well, I love standing under a 747 while it takes off with all 4 engines on full thrust. The feeling of the earth shaking gives me a rush. Of course if the thiing falls on top of me, I'll have no more "rush" to worry about.

Re: American, European or Japanese?
Hey a scooter is small, cheap and easy to handle. It's quiet also.
I'm a Formula 1 fan, no fast bikes for me.
