I get into car, shut door and listen an audio book. Since I started to listening to them in the car I find driving more relaxed. Music makes me drive a little crazy!
I do the speed limit on the streets but when it comes to the freeway or high speed highways I go about 10mph over. If it's a rural highway 90mph is my personal speed limit. My car's cruise control doesn't engage after 93mph so there must be a good reason for that.
I'd rather get a ticket for 100 in an 80 (west Texas) than for 40 in a 20 because it would be pathetic to get a ticket for such a boring speed.
I'm an aggressive but very careful driver. I imagine I'm flying a plane instead of driving a car. I don't want to die on the highway or get seriously injured so seatbelts are a must and if someone else on the highway screws up around me they deserve the horn.
I'm a safe driver (for the most part) but in the morning on the way to work sometimes I zone out and then I'm pulling into work, and can't even recall the last few minutes before I got there??

LOL - now I know you're a Texan (the only place with that much open space).....that straight-away between San Antonio and Corpus is my favorite for letting loose.....90 no problem and hardly anything in sight for 100+ miles
