Since buying the Nissan 200SX SE-R new in 1996, Sumo has been on a mission to modify the 2.0L inline four cylinder 140hp, 132lb-ft motivated coupe. First, he started with the usual mods of JWT pop charger intake, Stillen ceramic coated headers and stillen muffler. The performance was increased with specific gains in the mid range and top end.

To round the mods at the time, Sumo also improved the shifting with a s short shifter as well as suspension parts including suspension techniques sway bars, Stillen strut bars and Eiback springs.

[/right] After all this was done, it wasn't long before his thirst for more extreme performance drove him to his quest for BOOST. Sumo saved and scrounged for a few years while slowly researching and piecing together a fully customized turbo system to go 'all out'. When it was all said and done, the SE-R recieved its transformation from naturally aspirated to forced induction by primarily Chris Chong of KRS Performance.

The Black Beast has a Spearco intercooler, a Turbonetics T3/T04E turbo, Nismo shortened and ported exhaust manifold, Deltagate wastegate, Greddy Type-S Blow off valve, Nissan 300ZX twin turbo fuel pump and injectors, SX fuel pressure regulator, Jim Wolf Technology's ECU, Greddy Profec B boost controller and turbo timer, Autometer boost and air/fuel ratio gauges.

On the outside, the 17" Racing Sparco NS-II Python rims with Toyo Proxes kept the power to the ground. Braking is handled by a Wilwood 4 piston calipers mated to 12" slotted rotors, cross drilled rotors in the rear and stainless steel braided lines, Motul DOT 4 fluid all around. Further suspension mods include Koni adjustable struts and shocks, and lowering the car even further to approx.3" drop. The clutch system includes an ACT 6 puck disc & pressure plate and a 10lb Clutch Master flywheel. A Stillen front spoiler is also being added. Sumo has broken third gear twice, both times in a strainght line under BOOST. Since then the gears have been cryo. treated so hopefully this problem is solved.

Sumo has not run the car at the drag strip because the brakes do not allow for the usual import drag slicks to be fitted but his focus was on road racing more than drags. On the street, the boosted SE-R has conquered many vehicles such as:

Civic Si's Turboed
Integra GS-R's
Integra Type- R
Eclipse GS-T's & GS-X's
Mustang GT's & Cobras
Camaro z-28
BMW M3's
Viper GT-S in 2nd and 3rd gear racing
A few sport bikes

In the future, many more modifications are being planned to reach a goal of 500hp to the wheels @ 27 psi as well as making the SE-R capable of attacking road courses while still keeping the SE-R as his daily driver.

Sumo's thirst for more power is seemingly unquenchable but we'll see...

I am sorry for being a as lol but i have seen sentras hook up and now of them can take a street bike unless they where under 650cc

Good Luck Tryin To Reach Your 500whp Goal I Had A 200sx 1 Year Ago That Put Down 390hp To The Ground And Ran A 12 Flat With Full Interior Tv's In The Dash Guages .speakers In The Back So Gut It And Then Take It To The Track Maybe U Can Run My Rsx At Us27 Or If U Wanna Go Big Race My Eclipse For Some Cash 200 And Up
