Originial question... I have forgotten it now that I have read... but I think you should start out as you will continue...

In other words if you are a freak and in to that then tell your partner and have fun with it.

If you are "on the fence"... then tell them you might be willing to try it but don't make any commitments to it until you know you are ready...

If you are HARDCORE against it... then tell them flat out that you aren't that kind of person.
