I could never date a Jamaican guy and Im Jamaican.
I guess the ones in NY turned me off from them period.

I met one from NY who turned me on quite good, LOL. Of course, he was from Brooklyn, not Queens.

My question is. Is it normal for Jamaican men to be on di phone with their picknei's (i think i spelled it right) mother on a regular basis for 30 mins or more. I know its NOT normal for American men. I am having and have had a BIG problem with this. He claims he's talking to his kids for most of it but i am finding this hard to believe.

Well, yes and no. If there is a problem with the pickney, then yes, of course. I know of men who are in the US and their kid has a heart problem....the calls are pretty regular. And there are those who do talk to their kids regularly.

But, I also know of baby mamas who call all the time, just to hold on and the men encourage this. If the men can't really let them go, this is a problem.

Only you can tell what is happening in your own relationship. Talk to him and find out what is really going on. I wouldn't let up until I was satisfied with the answers. In my own experience, if my gut is telling me something I can't justify by his words or actions, something is definately wrong.
