Re: **Having problems with/doubts/concerns about/questions about a Jamaican? Read Here!**

when i first shared my story on this thread my tears kept falling as i was writing and remebering what my husband done to me and my chrildren. my grand parents did warn me i wish i had listened to my grandad who is a jamacian and he said richard is only using to get the stay and that richard is still with his baby mother. richard cried and told my grabdad that is not true and love me. i didnt want to listen because richard told me that his baby mother and him are finished becuse she was seeing some one else and now they are finished. i now realise that this is a lie. he was trying to send for her and the chrildren.

please women if your family and friends are warning about man please listen especially the little voice inside you.

But oh my god Jomo's girl i am so sorry to hear that. it is so frightening to see how many women on this site who have been in such awful wicked sitations caused by men.

i think it is postive move for women to dicuss and share the stories so we can encourage one another, learn and empower each other. i feel better now that i have shared my story. i am not through the woods yet. in the process of getting my divorce and awaiting trial date.(scary)

bless everyone who has been supportive on this thread. all these women who have shared thier story i believe are very strong and blessed. and i pray that god will bring blessings, happiness, peace and joy to every womens and their family.big thank you

The thing is, P, he has not just started treating you like this. He has learned this all his life. I am sure his baby's mother and the children have seen this side of him as well. It's a wonder no one has died yet.

Be strong, P. You can handle this. Take care of you and use everything you can to make sure he always stays away from you.
That's interesting..what a coinsidence! Actually...I was friends with LuckyD during this time and he was there for me...kinda like Jomo was for you...how funny. Well..we obviously were the fortunate ones and hopefully all of our stories will help others out there that aren's so sure about there own situation!

P....keep strong and don't give up! Keep the charges against him....remember, you are doing other women and children a service in trying to prevent him from wronging others! He was wrong and needs to be punished for that...keep your head up and come to us if you need to chat!

Re: **Having problems with/doubts/concerns about/questions about a Jamaican? Read Here!**

My goodness, my goodness.....P-bird it really is sad to hear what you have gone through and even more too see how many person have similar incidences. Ladies I do believe that yes there are some really wicked good for nothin men out there and for the life of me I cannot understand how they do things like dat. I could NEVER EVER see myself doing anything like dat NEVER!!

Man like dem muss suffer!! ETJ has some wonderfulf persons here and I welcome you to the family ok...when u have no one right beside you to talk we are just a click away or a phone call (I suggest you exchange numbers with some of these lovely ladies here)

As a man I am disgusted by my species getting themsleves into such bad states of mind....really!!! It may come as a shock but I have had the privilage to have spoken to a few women who have gone through stuff like this and one thing is certain. The more you talk the faster you will get out of it ok. Keep communicating with the social workers, girlfriends, we here on ETJ and you will realise that YOU CAN MAKE IT - YOU CAN GET OUT. might seem like it will take long but just know that you will be out of it.

You have good working plans and I like that. keep working on them, dont ever stop, and you and your children will have a breathe of fresh air soon.

YOUR NEWEST FRIEND
LUCKYD.

1. No, all Jamaicans don't act like the person you're involved with. Jamaican people have different personalities and are individuals - just like people that live wherever it is you came from.

2. Not all Jamaicans take advantage of people. Some do, just as some people in the USA or Canada, or England, or France take advantage of people.

3. If you are gullible, you will find someone to take advantage of your gullibility. Learn to think and act smart with your life and relationships.

4. Yes, if you feel that your Jamaican "friend" is using you, and not treating you with respect, then for crying out loud, stap deal wid dem nuh? Weh yuh a hem an' haw 'bout eeeh? Yuh clearly know weh a gwaan. So unless yuh waan fi get played, step outa di situation nuh? Gorsh!

5. Yes, come to Jamaica, make friends, have a good time, but please, get to know people before you get deeply mixed up with them. It's just common sense.

Tanks.

You know this is why I love you

BIIIIIIIGGGG POST!!!!!!

LMAO, one thing though, there's nothing common about sense LOL that's why you had to make this thread in the first place LOL

You have plenty of common sense. You have made smart hard, yet smart choices in a very sad and dangerous situation. The person above is pointing out what someone else wisely said.

Okay. Still need the LORC, though. Thanks for asking.

Anytime on the explanation. I know what it's like to be new and not completely understand what is going on.
