Hmmm - depends how how they are brought up and what their views on life is. I think that a girl will turn into a woman no matter what happen. But the become a good woman - one should have a good outlook on life. Want to acheive things, being independent, have pride in good thing they do, clean etc etc. Its hard to explain.

Bounty, I'm still trying to figure that out. There are so many qualities and characteristics that I have seen in women like my mother and my friend's mothers that I admire and respect and strive to have within myself.


I believe you have to instill in this girl from she is a baby certain values and a sene of self worth. Also a sense of GOD.

If a female has a good male role model(sometimes even a bad one),she will learn what she will NOT settle for in her relationships

I guess it is a pretty broad question, but I ask because as a man, if I ever had a daughter, I'd want to know and understand what I need to do in order to support her growing into the best woman that she could be. I have my own views on what constitutes a "good woman" but that's from a man's perspective. I wanna hear what you ladies think, what is it that is important to you all, and what is it that you think would be helpful in bringing up girls to meet those goals.

What constitutes a good woman? I go by Proverbs 31. I always strive to be like that. I think if I had a girl to raise I would raise her like my mom did with values to live by and the Word of God.

what would help to bring up girls is seeing her dad treating her mother with the utmost respect and unconditional love...this would flow over into her life and her choices of getting a mate...

As a man...him being around around alot helps in many ways....and having him to let her know that he;s there and that she should be comfortable with teling him anything...

well when you can be independent in your choices thinking etc: a man plays apart because he his your example of what a man is to be like takes care of you respect you love you strong when you need him to be has a love for you that is unconditional...thats how I was raised I have three boys although they love me they look to Dad on how to be a man.....My two oldest say they want to be just like their dad all the time I teach them how to be sensitive,caring, patient, respectful, gentle DADDY takes it from there
