My husband is Jamaican and we have a lot of culture differences that from time to time cause communication problems. For example, a womans role. The most difficult issue I'm trying to understand is the sexuality differences. I enjoy full body attention. My husband things that if he kisses my breasts that instantly it's time for sex. I would like for the kisses to also reach other areas that are in desperate need of attention.

Thanks for your reply. I believe that the inhibitions are strickly from the background of how Jamaican men are raised. When they come into America some sexual norms are not normal for them. I support the fact that my likes my seem a bit above and beyond what is normal for my husband. I believe that America has perverted the true meaning of a satisfying sexual relationship between a man and women. Nonetheless, I love and really enjoy my relationship. I know that Jamaican men represent for their families completely. My man is very concerned if he's pleasing me. I have to reassure him that intimacy to me is what makes me love him. The fact that he quietly pays attention to his woman. I think also that the understanding comes from the history of the culture from which Jamaican men come from. If your man is 30 or older some sexual issues may be new to him and he may not want to admit it.
