• Conflict resolutions. (Do you talk until it is resolved, or do you retreat to your corners until time heals the wounds).
• Intimacy (Does work/Children/relative encroach on your lovey-dovey time?)
• Finance. (Is it an issue?)
• Other overbearing Issues. Any issues that you are unfamilar with handling.

• How soon are you planning on jumping back into the serious relationship (not frivilous dating) pool?

Well for me I jumped to soon. (In terms of my current relationship). I wish I would have waited. (I came out of a break up in April and my new friend and I began a new relationship in June).

I am not into frivolous dating when I meet someone and give them my time it is because I am really interested in them and looking to get to know them and developing something more meaningful and long lasting.

To me dating is like going into the mall and trying on a different pair of shoes until you decide what pair you want to choose and buy to wear. My emotions and time is too valuable for that.

I will not say I am waiting on Yah per se...I just need to take a step back and rethink some things. I am looking for a "Spiritual Connection" first and foremost in terms of same beliefs and such. Right now he and I have a good vibe going on except when it comes to spiritual matters.......

For me...
Communications - She talks I listen. At least I pretend to.
She loves to talk about her job and "what happened at work today".. The sad thing is...come the next day, if I ask, before she is ready to open up, she doesnt want to talk.

Conflict Resolutions - We seem to have mastered the art of choosing our battles. We both have strong views on issues and don't agree on EVERYTHING, but we manage to deal with them in mutually meaningful ways. We dont let things simmer hoping for time to resolve it.

Intimacy - From Day One, we had outlined that as a critical part of our relationship. Even if the intimacy means lounging in the sofa watching "Heroes", we ensure that nothing interferes with our " alone time". Sometimes, especially when I know that she is busy in eth kitchen, I put on one of my Motown CD's and comically sing to her (while dancing) using a fork as my microphone.

Finance - Finance is always an issue. After all, I am not rich. But we are trying our best to keep it good.

She is a better cook than I am. I am better at ironing. She constantly ask me if I wiped the toilet seat after I P... and gets on my case about taking my shoes off at the door.

But how does time justify when others who have waited end up losing out on their relationship as easily as those who jump right back in?
I mean, if it feels right, do you think that you still still wait before forging ahead? (Playing devil's advocate here)

Well this is where I am at now. I tried to break it off several times...he won't let me..he like Abiyah you can't stop love and you know how I feel about you. It feels good to love somebody and have someone to love you back. It's not one sided. He does not have much materially...and that does not matter to me.. ...what he does have is genuine love for me and I for him.

LOL!!! U funnay!!! Naw, well it is not like he is forcing me and holding a gun to my head.....I just don't call him or whateva...yet he still calls me; he still wants to come to my home. You know he lives a couple of houses down the street from me so we see each other every day....I dunno Alex....we shall see.

LOL!! Yes, I mentioned that in my newbie intro. This is how we met. He stalked me for a whole month before I finally said something to him. Before, I did begin a relationship with him I would just walk pass and just greet him after he greeted me. This is why I laugh at Bounty when he teases Mr/Mrs Groovy cuz they remind me of my friend stalking me until he got what he wanted. I just gave in...he is very persistent; driven and goes after what he wants. He said he saw me; adored me; wanted me and he got me....LOL!!! Did I mention his (EGO) is way off da charts...LOL!!!
