When Somebody loves you back - Jamaica Talk

In 1978, Teddy Pendergass sang these words in one of his famous love ballads;
"Its so good, lovin' somebody, and that somebody loves you back.
It's so good needin' somebody, and that somebody needs you back.
To be love and to love in return is the only thing that my heart desire..."

I am sure that everyone who has ever been in love has felt the desire to love in that way.

Do you believe that true love can only exist, when the love that one gives is equally returned?

Have you ever had the experience where someone you love was incapable of loving you back becuase of some past bad experience or some old love that they were still hung up on?

Have You ever been unable to return someone's love because of similar reasons?

Do you believe that true love can only exist, when the love that one gives is equally returned?

True love comes from the Most High Yah. It is only when we have truly developed a relationship with him that we can transmute that love to another. Yah is Love.

Yes until I worked my MOJO.....

Seriously though Alex....you know how some people just have that gift/force/energy about them that once you encounter them it' just leaves in you in awwww. Well that's me; I sho know how to turn rain into sunshine

I always say that, love goes both ways, u can't expierience love if its one sided, that doesn't make sense to me..u can be infatuated, but not in love

YUP, and i broke up with them as soon as i realized it was going to far..once i broke up with this guy two days before Valentines day because i heard what he was planning, everyone thought i was so mean, but i didn't want him to spend all his money on me for nuthin, geez

But If TRUE love comes from God, shouldnt we be able to truly love without getting it in return?

God loves us, but many of us don't reciprocate that love back to him.
Does that then invalidate his love for us?

I don't believe that, if that was the case, all the Christian women sitting at home waiting for Mr Right to knock on the door, since they don't go anywhere, would all be blissfully married! lol

I believe love is chemistry, i believe we are animals and are sex driven...smell, taste, find the perfect fit! lol

I'm confused...What DONT you believe...
That TRUE love comes from God, or that TRUE love shouldnt require reciprocation for its validation?

I don't believe that true love comes from God, i believe that the unconditional love that you have for your children comes from God..if the love that you feel for your other half came from God, then how could it possibly go away?

I think you are confusing sex with Love.
Love is Spiritual.
Lust is chemical.

Just the same way as the GRACE of God can depart from you when you fall out of favor with him.
It can be likened unto good wine being poured into old casks. Because of its potency such wines exert too much pressure for the old worn out casks, to withstand. So too our broken and imperfect hearts are often incapable of withstanding the perfect love of God and as such, we fail to show it one to another.
True love comes from God and is perfect. It is us who are imperfect.
