Wow, see some new faces around here... nice nice... liking the vibe so far from what I am seeing...
Now on to my story... last time I was here I was telling you guys about me possibly getting married...
Well, let's just say that I never put on them rose colored glasses and caught ole boy being very naughty...

And, I have come to grips with a few things... realized that I couldn't just keep living all of my life for other people... that's right I went out and got MYSELF BACK!!!!!!
I have found this unbelievably perfect balance between the Hurricane and the faithful woman I have become...
I am living it up and enjoying life... dating, making friends... I am really very happy...
Oh... and I've found that I realllllly love young men... HA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I am one of those horrible cougars you hear about... currently dating several men several years younger than me... notice I did say dating NOT screwing... and I am having the time of my life...
Church is still my priority... as is my volunteer work... howerver, I'm making a little more time for momma these days... I think I deserve it.
Windy.. we have always kinda been A LOT alike!!! Although I am not a Church go-er my faith is still my priority. I date and enjoy it for as long as it lasts.
Right now I am dating.. or being in a relationship with (yet again a slightly older man LOL) and I am enjoying it a LOT

I am soo sorry to hear that things did not work out for you and yours. You were oh so positive and dedicated to the effort. I have no doubt that it was for the best.
For those who don't know, WindyP and I go waaay back. You might say that we are kindred spirits from back in the days of the Gulf War and quite possible, one of my many wives in another life..
Wendy did her part in the Middle East some years back supporting the troops on the ground in Iraq in a civilian capacity. She has since then returned to her lovely daughter and life back down in Steer Country (Texas).
She is/was a humble believer of a christian persuasion, very objective...naw...TOO objective sometimes, (cawz i couldnt even get her to agree with me on some issues at times) but always positive and a pleasure to converse with.
In a word...she was one of the good guys.
