Re: The Dum-truck has arrived, but it missed my head!
Hi Crystal it's been a while.
Ok let me add my 25 cents in here, well your stepdaughters mother has a point in a way. She feels she doesn't need to have a relationship or even speak to you, because she feels the childs father is sufficient! In her thinking she is sending the child to be with her FATHER and may feel you have nothing to do with that equation. She is comforted in the thought that the child will be safe with her father and other surroundings(YOU). Yes it would be nice if she spoke to you but maybe she feels YOU are apart of her ex's life she doesn't want anything to do with. I wouldn't make a fuss over it. As for Jamaican women not asking their man where he is going......well I'm one who does !!! Why don't you get all dolled up one Saturday night and just say..."I'll see you later" see if he doesn't ask you where you are going We have an understanding in my home if either one of us is going out with friends we try to make it back home at a decent hour, and we also make a few calls home just to assure one another that everything is OK If you are together in your case married his buisness is your business and vice versa! |
