I;ve heard Jamaican men/ women, say that they prefer people from their own nationality...and i;ve heard the other side as well....
If you were hurt by a jamaican, then most likely you;re going to say you'd rather any other nationality...same goes if you were hurt by an american or any other nationality.
True, True.
But I would only presume that most men from a particular country would indeed marry mostly women of their own country.

Over a "WHITE" one, or a "non-Jamaican" one? Please remember that there are White Jamaican women as well.
I have heard a few stories about Jamaican men who claim to not date Jamaican women. I believe that those who hold that opinion..
1. If still living in Jamaica- are lying through their teeth to convince non-Jamaican women of their sincerity and affection for them.
2. If living abroad- Have had bad experiences with the few Jamaican women that they know and feels intimidated by their (apparent) "up-front, no-nonsense" style.
3. Have not had much exposure (by way of real relationships) with Jamaican women and also feel intimidated by them.

No Prob. I just presumed that you meant non-Jamaicans.
As far as White, Black, Asian, or Indian Jamaicans are concerned; IN MY OWN EXPERIENCE, I dont think it matters to a Jamaican man.
As far as most of us see it, A Jamaican woman is a Jamaican woman.

That is correct.

Okay I've read it. I have a TON to say IN MY OWN OPINION and experiences.
First of all, the one thing I agree with the MOST is the part about Jamaican women abroad adapting well and finally realizing they don't have to put up with any crap or abuse from the men. I find it refreshing that those women realize they can do anything they want and SUCCEED outside of Jamaica....with or without a man. Bravo. They might not have that opportunity back home.
Next, I hate to say it but a lot of what was said about the men in that article, I've seen it first hand so I'd have to agree with some of it. Although the part about oral sex was kinda funny....thinking they can just get it from "us" whenever they want. LOL they'd soon learn that "us" want it right back on the regular I dunno about other non-Jamaican women but I would withhold for that reason alone.
BUT also I know plenty nice and normal Jamaican men in and outside of Jamaica. So yes there were a ton of generalizations in there too. I hate to say it though....I couldn't help but side with the women on this one.....and NOT ONLY because I'm a woman. But because I've seen it.

Are these statements about 1) Men who actually make the claim not to date Jamaican Women, 2) Men who make no "claims" but appear not to date Jamaican Women or 3) Men who are currently involved with a foreign women??
Personally, I see no reason why anyone would have to make an anti-Jamaican statement like "I don't date Jamaicans" but do you not consider the possibility that dating outside your nationality is none of the three, but just a preference??
