Should be a give and take sort of thing.

I would never go on and on about how appreciative I am about him if he wasn't reciprocating. I'm not really all that nice if I am feeling unappreciated.

Well I believe if you appreciate some one you should just let them know...not to get it back in return, just to say it...I wouldn't say it if I wasn't appreciative......some times men are not as communicative as women and its just there way. Doesn't mean they don't appreciate you just cause they don't say it....everyone has to be who they are..I don't place conditions on my compliments....maybe if he doesn't say it he might be showing it through his actions instead.

That's what I'm talking about Teach. Not necessarily that he doesn't say it; but I have to know he appreciates me by his actions then.

I'm sorry; but I am not busting my butt to take care of things for a man who just keeps piling his exectations and requests on. It's a 50/50 relationship. If it's not, then I'm not into it. I'm not his maid nor his mother.
