Ladies of ETJ, I got a question for ya! Here's the scenario. You got engaged to a man that was most if not everything you wanted in a guy. He gives you a ring that you later find out was the same ring that he gave to a woman he was previously engaged to. Would it matter to you? Would you want the ring changed or would having the diamond placed in another setting be enough?
Disclaimer: Jagobi, Jubi, and associates are not and have not gone thru this.... this is just a question!

Hmmm! First I'd buss his ass for giving me a ring he previously gave another woman. Even if he were to replace it at my request, I don't know if I'd want him in my live, that right there is telling me that his ass is INCONSIDERATE and cheap!
I wouldn't want the ring, apparently he had to put some thought and love in purchasing this ring for former fiance, so I don't see how he would be able to give me the same one.
I feel the same. He should sell that ring or make himself a piece of jewelry from it. The problem is the fact that he went looking for a ring for lets say "Tina". OK he was in love with Tina and decided to ask her to marry him, he took one look at that ring and pictured in on Tina's hand and was like "Yeah that's Tina's ring!" Then whatever happend and it didn't work out and he got the ring back. And he meets Sheila, now he want's to give Sheila "Tina's ring"? No no no. That's not right. It's one thing to pass on like a family heirloom like your Grandmothers engagement ring or something, that's different that's tradition. But a ring that you specificly went out and bought for another person, no that's just wrong.
I agree with all the ladies here,.........he put enough time, thought, caring energy and love into picking out that specific ring for that other chick why would you want to give me "her" ring? I would want us to pick out our own as a couple. And to tell you the truth I might probably reconsider him as my forever because that's a pretty F up message he's sending me by doing that......... hhhmmmm I wonder what would the future holds after that???
Didn't say he told you, I said you later found out.....
.....
Umm...either way..Mi still wouldn't want it!!!!!....an to yuh friend....she free fi do wah she waan fi do...some women would take it, but to me it make it seem as if she desperate fi one engagemnet ring!..just soh mi see it!
Nope, I didn't ask her cause I don't know her like that. I know the guy. I didn't know he was going to do it like that... thought he would've traded it in/cashed it in and shopped for a new one......
