A little like MissB my feelings towards this have changed with experience. I used to think women who got beat 'were pathetic' for letting their men get away with it. i am so glad to have changed enough to recognise who is the victim in these situations. and i feel so much for women who feel stuck for whatever reasons - instead of condemning them. i can now recognise which of my relationships were unhealthy and bordering on being emotionally and mentally abusive.

and Dale you sound like a very nice and mature young man. wish there were more men like you out there.
