Mentioning in the Cheech & Chong thread that I lived in Santa Ana, south of LA, in 1971-72 made me recall one of the dumbest things I've ever done. Was strolling in downtown Santa Ana one day when I spied something on the sidewalk. I picked it up, and it was a pill--one that I'd never seen before and didn't recognize. Before I could stop myself, I'd swallowed it. I managed to get back to my barracks (I have no memory of how) before I conked out. I woke up 14 hours later. Oh, the things you do when you're young & stoopid...

That pill didn't get me high, but it did cure my menstrual cramps...

I was on my way home from school - moments from my home when I randomly thought "I WONDER WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE BLIND"....

I closed my eyes and tried to sense my way home and walk smack bang into a concrete lamp post (this was back in the day when everything had sharp edges)....

I ended up with a line running down my forehead to my nose and blood gushing between my two front teeth.... looked just like this (minus the beard!!! and with more of a tan )

-Didn't have a sleigh, so i made one out of my azz.

-We would play "knock your momma off my shoulder" . The way this played is if two kids were at each other's throats but, neigher would swing, the instigator (usually myself) would pick up an item off the grown, such as a stick, rock, leaf, pencil, etc and put it on both kids shoulders. Who ever knocks the item off the other kids shoulder initiates the fight, and the kid who's shoulder it was knocked off would straight sucker punch the odda kid for disrepsecting their mother. Then...well.....the fighting begins LOL

LOLOL LR that reminds me of something stupid I did.

My sister and I were playing with candles when our mom wasn't home, but we thought she'd smell it when she walked in. So we grabbed a can of lysol and sprayed it directly at the candle Well you if you ever been to Sumfest you know how that plays out LMFAO!!! We created a blowtorch outta the candle and the dried flower arrangement behind the candle went up in flame!!!! So much for getting rid of the smell.

Once when I was about 12 mother and I were flying up the
401 highway in a souped up Corvar and I thought that I would let my frog
out of the jar and have it hop onto her lap - when it did she freaked and
swerved all over the highway .
I t was a dumb thing to do what’s even dumber is I figured that a Corvar
with racing slicks probably wouldn’t flip over and even if it did we had a role
bar and our racing harness on. (guess I watched to much TV back then)
