Hello everyone!!! And yes I'm new here, I've been reading the threads on here for awhile now and finally decided that is was time that I joined. There is this man (and he is jamaican) and I am not..... we have know each other for about 4 years at this point and have talked off and on for 3. We actually met through my old job and then I quit and lost track off him, well about 7 months ago, I started running into him again, every time I went out, it was really odd, it's like we were being put together for a reason. Things have been progressing nicely, we have wonderful conversation and we enjoy the small amount of time we have together. I think he is attracted to me as he always comments on good I smell or how nice I look, and there's even more... I have a three year old son that he has thought is so cute, and the other day we got to talking about that, he would love to have another child, as well as I would. Then today he said the same thing. He is a great man, and would love for him to be in our lives. But I can't figure him out. All I konw is that I can't stop thinking of him, I dream about him at night, it's like the universe wants us together.... I don't know how much longer I can take "just talking" to him....lol.

All I have to say is just ASK HIM. You obviously have decent conversation with him all the time. Why don't you just ask him what's up?

Hello Shoes

I'm sort of in the same boat. Read my posts! But, beware, on this site be careful about what you ask. What to feed him, how to dress, what to....for him are kinda off-limits. Read my threads if you want. I did use a little creative writing for humor at first, but the folks here have reeled me in.

Last night we talked on the phone for 4 hrs in the early am. I am excited about this possible relationship! G. Has been here 20 years and works with me. We met in March.

JamCan..... I have asked..... He actually asked me months ago, why I wasn't dating.... my ex (son's father) went to prison 3 years ago, so I haven't been involved, I wanted to make sure I was ready. I kind of always wanted him (the new guy). When I asked his answer was yes.... we have even talked about relocating, children, and what we want in the future. He has been here for 10 years and wants to stay because of him having a little girl. But for some reason we just can't get this thing started....

Waterbug..... I have read your past posts and I did feel some tension..... However I believe we just need to be ourselves and if the universe wants us to be together it will happen. I do nothing special for any different guy. I am me....This has worked well for me. But it has taken me a long time to get this right. Luckly.... I'm a great cook and he already loves it!!!! When you think you are ready ask him out, even if you have to write him a note. If you dont think you are ready tell him. He might be asking himself many questions so be as honest as possible.

Or you could invite him to ETJ and tell him you user name then invite him on a date from here You could even create another user name just for this purpose like "loveshoesandates". People sometimes can prentend to be someone esle behind a computer.
