I can totally relate to this. It seems everyone moves in different directions in life and at different paces. I get frustrated because my friends dont seem to have moved on and do the same things in the same places. But then I feel guilty as if im rejecting them by not wanting to be with them. ive spent a year in jamaica and i come back and nothing has changed and it makes me wanna scream!

OMG this is the way I feel too!! And this particular friend, not only is she having her 3rd kid, they moved 30 mins outside town too. So I just have no interest.

LOL good advice if only I had the balls to risk offending her. I guess that's not the only part. She's not allowed to do anything but come sit at my house for a couple hours and talk. The inevitably her man calls her home. I want to do something more FUN...we have nothing to talk about anymore because she has toddlers and babies, no job, etc. I'm the exact opposite.

Let me ask you this, though. Maybe she's exhausted and just wants to get away from the house and the kids for a while. Maybe they are short on money and she on time, and sitting talking to you is like heaven to her. Did you ever think that while you are finding it boring, you are her savior?
