u are married or have a solid relationship...and u have your matey on the side or you are his matey....
are there rules and laws u suppose to follow:

a man will never leave his wife for his matey?

the matey is the one who gets the fun part, wifey gets the respect?

the wife not suppose to worry herself, she is the one he comes home to?

do u have real love for the matey?

the matey cant step in wifey face when she see her 'man' with wifey?

etc, etc,etc.

and ladies how u keep up with this if u know your man having a matey/wife?
i hear so much about this not only in lyrics but also in real Jamaican life....just wondering!
