me too...

I mean either way it goes... whether you want to leave them or they want to leave you... no reason to make it difficult...

If I am done and ready to go... I will just tell them and be done with it...

and if they are wanting to leave me... why try to hold on to someone who doesn't love and appreciate me...

Last time I acted like a fool was when I was 17.

Never mix hard liquor with a break up.


Getting over breakup for me depends on how long the relationship was. Anything less then a year is a very short time (not much invested). Something that lasted for years would take much much longer. Either way.... I deal with it in a quiet and content way....usually ending up as frens with the other.

As long as I have closure I am fine... With my baby daddy I went whacko for a minute but that didnt last long... Break ups can hurt.. especially if ur not sure what went wrong and the other person doesnt feel the need to elaborate...

I am with GG on the closure thing....its much easier to move on if you have that.....i have had one relationship that ended with no closure he just dissappeared and that was really traumatizing to me....never ever spoke to him again and we hadn't even been fighting...but we were young and he was just a coward...it was really hard to let go of that, but mostly when a bad realtionship is over its just over for me.

In my younger days, I found myself still writting letters, calling the guy, or trying to get attention anyway I could from him. I was never the try to beat up the next girl, slash tires and tourment though.

After the break up with my daughter's father, I learned to do something I thought I could never do after two and half years of chasing him....play the out of sight out of mind game. I wouldn't allow for myself to get close to anyone after that, just close enough to walk away if needed. I would cut off all ties and all forms of communication.

Now in regards to me and my husband....can't imagine a breakup...that would be an utter mess....cuz i would go on a rampage beat up EVERYONE I could get my hands on. LOL

Agree with everyone, when I was younger (late teens, early twenties) I was psycho about it, but so were my exes. I blame on inexperience and being naive.
As I got older, I just began to realize what I needed/wanted in my love life. So the breakup would be mutual, or in some cases if I wasn't feeling dude I just wouldn't call, e-mail, visit...NOTHING. Cut-off all forms of communication.
