Ok so... Serena was invited to join the competition team at gymnastics...
She will begin competing in January... could possibly even compete at state level... I'll keep you all posted.

I'm bragging today
 We're heading out in a bit here to get the final touches for Curtis's FIRST event that he's getting paid for. He's been promoting and DJ-ing other people's events for months now and tomorrow night he's putting on his own. He created it, has been promoting it, is DJ-ing it and hired all the other guest DJ's. I rented the space for him to do it and put up the money for the sound equipment rental, etc. He stands to make a few thousand dollars tomorrow night.

Ok so I don't have kids yet so I will just brag about Curtis since he's family!!
The other day I was hanging out in the basement with him for a while and he was DJing a bit..and showing me some of the stuff he's coming up with for his event!! I was mega impressed...not only is he a skilled DJ...but he has taught himself how to spin...without owning his own equipment..which he is earning!! I was super proud of him!!

Hello! Pardon me for saying but there could be a million dollar
sitcom or soap opera in the above 4 replies. First there’s this Curtis guy – the hanging around in the basement and the crazy lady that thinks he’s her son. Jerry Seinfeld and George Casstantza once sold NBC a story about nothing - so surely we could do something with the material in those 4 replies. Cheers and just goofing around!

K all you guys can shut up cuz he's MINE...I created him.
I'm bragging tonight because last night was my son's very first event that he created, promoted and executed all by himself.....ANNNNNNND I might say that out of the 5 or 6 DJ's that played....he got the BIGGEST crowd response!!! I was there for the whole thing and I was so proud of him...and he even raked in around $2000 for the night. The whole event went off without a hitch EXCEPT for the fire alarm that went off because of the fog machine LOLOL. I think it was a great success! He's DJ'd at plenty events before but this is the first one that HE himself put on. He's now started his own promotion and production company and will be putting on all his own events. Don't mind his outfit in this pic....LOL it was a Halloween event. And the greatest part about being his mom is that I got to go behind the DJ booth if I wanted LOL
