My niece has just been awarded 7- major awards for the current academic year...

She is sooooo good that she is on the road to a scholarship at the top UK girls six form college and therefore destined for Oxford and/or Cambridge!!!

In this world where West Indians have such a difficult time in school she is clearly a leader!!

And then!!

Daughty told me that she is sitting her GCSE's (3 subjects) 2 years early!!

They certainly deserve the treat I've organised for them at the end of the month - INTO THE HOODS at the Novello Theatre... UK (London) peeps - it you haven't seen it GO!!!!!!!!!

Pic of Wahoo Jr (the one with the beer bottle, of course) with his pals in Japan. He plays in two bands in his off-duty hours (because at any given time one or the other band is on hiatus while band members are deployed to Irag, Afghanistan, or just about anywhere in Asia or the South Pacific).

I noticed you said (in his off-duty hours) is Wahoo Jr. in the Military?
I thought Wahoo Jr. was a student who played on a Lacrosse team and
you have 2 sons and the older one is a Marian. I ‘m not being noisy –
I am just trying to figure how many kegs will be needed.

Right, Nanoose, younger son is heading off to university next month and elder son is overseas. It's probably a blessing that I don't have any daughters 'cause how would you like to go thru life with a name like Wahoowanda?

I'm not latina, but I thought since we live in California it would be great if my daughter could speak spanish (plus in certain jobs you get paid more if you're bilingual spanish/english) so my kid goes to a bilingual school where they teach in predominantly Spanish.
She wrote me a card with her picture attached and said "Te amo Mama'!" Plus she's been doing the spanglish thing...speaking in English but the words she does know in spanish she'll say. Like "Mom can you pass me the Leche!" When we're eating and she wants milk, lol. and loads of other things.
