I'm braggin....yep!!!!

My son brought home his first report card in 3 years. He's got an 80.3% average so far in grade 10!!!! The best being 97% in Social Studies/History/Politics.

Yea I'm beaming.

I gotta brag about my elder son. We exchanged Happy 232nd Marine Corps Birthday e-mails from Okinawa. He said he participated in the cake-cutting ceremony at his command's celebration. He--along with a Lance Corporal, a Corporal, and a Sergeant--marched the cake out to the CO, who cut the first piece of cake for himself and then another piece for the youngest and oldest Marines present. With buttons bursting on my chest from pride (or perhaps from my overindulgent beer intake), I told him I bet he was the best cake carrier the Marines ever saw!

Then me mentioned the "banana show" he and his buddies had gone to later out in town. I have no idea what he was talking about, except that he remarked one of his buddies caught a piece of the banana in his mouth and promptly spit it out, gagging. It must've been a bad banana...

Big day tomorrow for younger son, the family's ballsy cliff jumper and lacrosse star. Tomorrow's the prestigious annual Fairfax Fall Brawl Lacrosse tournament, and son's school's team is one of 40 teams from Virginia and surrounding states invited to participate. It's an all-day event, with each team playing about 8 short (30-min) games thruout the day. It'll be a long, exhausting day of MILF-oogling and treks to the food vendors' stalls for me. Gotta remember to dress warmly--it's s'posed to be freezing tomorrow...just like last year.

Hello! Sounds like you got a couple of tuff sons.
My youngest son was a MVP on a lacrosse team and
when he got called out on the field you could see fear in
the eyes of some of the opponents.
If my son and his buddy Carol got called out at the same
time some of the players on the other team would jump
down on the ground and play dead because they knew
those two were like the Hanson brothers of the lacrosse field. Cheers!

I juss have to brag a likkle .....

My dawter is on a dance team that requires at least one, but perferably two other classes. They recomend jazz and ballet. Well, after 3 years of ballet she had absolutely NO desire to do it this year and I am not one to push her into anything. So instead of ballet I put her into a different kind of dance that ended up being worthless (the teacher had no control of the class and they didnt learn much). Anyhow...a month ago she came up to mi and asked if she could get back into ballet! I was so excited for it was her decision and it was a good one. The thing is...she has to re-try out for the class she wants into. So yesterday was her first day back and she simply amazed mi.

With her grace and determination, she proved to be on top of it and even showed a few others up. She has one more class (next week) that will determine if she makes it or not. I have a great feelin she's already in!

Today was the BIG competition at Serena's Gymnastics...

My baby won 1st place in all events and 1st all around in her level....

Not sure what to brag about with my kid but he's too smart for his own good!! He designed and created my website!!! Mind you he's been doing that kinda stuff since he was like 8.
