What is the biggest cause of unhappiness within marriages?
What do you think are some of the biggest causes of unhappiness in a marriage?

I think that If you are in mother mode within your marriage all the time, then you do not have a husband, but a son. Many times I do believe that women take on the mother mode in a marriage and forget that they are a wife.

And yes some women do do that...

I was guilty of it with my first husband... but he was so child like anyways...

Hence, why I had to leave... I wanted an equal partner... not another child.

Well sure....there are a million an one things that contribute to an unhappy marriage:

Abuse - physical or mental
Inability to have children
Alcohol
Drugs
No job / lack of money
Nothing in common
Inattentive
Bad sex life

etc........

etc........

etc........

That happens when a man feels the need to be babied, women now ah days shudnt fall for that anymore, you can read about this on the internet and in the vogue now! The men are innocent in that issue, since they are merely tryin' their luck and we fall right in that trap!

Biggest cause of unhappiness is not admitting and/or realizing that it's over!

But it was unhappiness that caused it to get to the point of being "over" as you put it...

so what are the main causes of the unhappiness and how do you correct the problem before it is too late?

Why just give up? You once loved this person or even still do for a reason... why throw that away without knowing the underlying cause.

I don't think so, I was never really unhappy with my baby daddy, sum things just end.
